Oh, Paula.

Paula Deen went on the Today Show this morning to defend herself. Did you see it? I am certain it broke a Guinness World Record for the longest interview ever. It was in part because she talks with that slow southern drawl. Spit it out, damn it. Having worked in the news business for a decade I can tell you people in the control room were salivating. “Zoom in on the tears.” They didn’t want her segment to end. It was painful to watch.

I still don’t know if she is a racist, but it’s clear she has a good dentist. Her chompers are whiter than white! Bottom line is Paula needs to fire her PR company and stop doing interviews. She may have a good heart and intentions, but always puts her foot in her mouth. Here is another example:
