Side Hustles

As a single mom I am always looking for ways to save or earn money. Unfortunately, my eggs have expired so donating them for cash isn’t an option. I don’t have the patience for a garage sale and people who want to negotiate an item priced for a nickel.  No Karen! I won’t accept 3 cents for that toy.  I’m also not going to sell photos of my feet or sweaty workout shirts to creeps online. I still cannot believe this is a thing.

I did find a few “side hustles” that are legit. You’re not going to get rich, but it could help pay for gas or groceries.  In my case, it could help feed my teenage son for one day. I swear the kid has a tapeworm. Here are a few ideas if you are in the same boat.

If you haven’t already you can sign up to be an Amazon Affiliate. You can sign up HERE. It’s pretty simple. You share links to items you  recommend and earn commission.

I LOVE this app. It’s called Fetch. You upload receipts from stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. You get the receipt, snap a photo, submit and voila!  You are awarded points that can be used to redeem gift cards. There are a bunch of companies to choose from.  Receipts must be scanned within 14 days of the checkout date. So, if you are a hoarder and have a receipt from a shirt you bought at Hot Topic….. that won’t work.

You can get points for just signing up. Use the code: 8A2KCD  to get 2,000 points

Here is the key:  You will get your own code once you sign up. Share it anywhere and everywhere and you get referral points.

Another side hustle is taking surveys. I know it sounds dreadful, but it is mindless, busy work. You can do it while you are binge watching a show or on the treadmill. I have tried a few different ones and found Branded Surveys to be the best.  You can sign up by clicking HERE.

InboxDollars is another survey site that also pays you to watch videos. You can tune in when it is convenient for you. You can sign up by clicking HERE.
