Well, I may not have to deal with the drive-thru dilemma in the near future.  According to the Associated Press sliced apples sold at fast-food and grocery chains across the country are being recalled due to possible listeria contamination.  It includes McDonald’s and Burger King.  You may want to check out the entire article to find out what stores are included in your area.  Listeria is a bacteria that causes food poisoning.  So far, there aren’t any reports of people getting sick.   The recalled snacks have use-by dates of July 8 through August 20th.  There isn’t a lot that makes me want to cook.  Recalls freak me out.  Read more…
