Please pause for a moment today and pray for the firefighters killed in Webster, NY. I have lived in Western New York most of my life. I met one of the victims when I worked as a TV news reporter. Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka answered a call for help only to be ambushed by a crazed gunman. Two other firefighters who sustained gunshot wounds are in the hospital. There are no words to describe the sorrow felt in this community. May these brave heroes rest in peace and may God comfort their families.
